Man loses appeal against assault sentence

Outcome: He was sentenced to three years imprisonment by Judge Martin Nolan at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in December 2012. Dismissing his appeal against sentence today, Mr Justice John Edwards said Judge Nolan was obliged to impose a consecutive sentence on Douche to commence after he had finished a jail term for possession of explosives imposed in 2010.
