Outcome: Sentencing McEnroe, a mother-of-three, Judge Cormac Quinn accepted she had stolen the goods in order to feed her drug habit. "To use the words of the defence, she was strung out on crack cocaine and tablets and has a serious drug problem," he said. "Clearly, this lady needs help." Judge Quinn handed down a two-year sentence but suspended the final 15 months on a number of conditions, including that McEnroe remain under the supervision of the Probation Services.
