McFeely avoids jail term

A Dublin District Court heard today that a dispute involving former developer Tom McFeely and recruitment firm MCR Personnel Ltd had been resolved, resulting in the striking out of proceedings that threatened a three-month jail term. The action, which had spanned approximately two years before the court, concerned an outstanding debt of €24,288 for services rendered. MCR's solicitor informed Judge Mary Collins that the parties had reached agreement, and the case was withdrawn. The matter had previously involved detailed cross-examination of McFeely's financial circumstances and alleged assets across multiple jurisdictions. The resolution came days before further questioning regarding financial matters was scheduled to resume at Dublin District Court.
