Tim Gilchrist Jr was arrested following a Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau operation at Abbeyshrule Aerodrome, Longford on August 4, 2022. He was charged with possession of cocaine and possession with intent to supply following the seizure of €8.4m in drugs. He made no application for bail and was remanded in custody.
