Summary
During the murder trial of Vesel Jahiri, security officer Korill Allen testified that on the night of 21 September 2012, he and colleague Svetlana Akopova saw a white Ford Focus stop near the entrance of the James Connolly Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. Allen described how a woman, later identified as Anna Finnegan, was pulled from the car and placed on a trolley. While lifting her, Finnegan allegedly pointed at the driver and said, "He did it." Allen confirmed that the driver was a bald man in his mid‑thirties with blood on his head. In cross‑examination, Allen admitted he could not recall other witnesses saying Finnegan pointed at him, and he denied that Gardaí had instructed him to make the allegation. Akopova, Maypother, and Leech also gave evidence, none of whom heard Finnegan say the phrase or see her point at Jahiri. The trial continues before Mr Justice Coffey and a jury. Vesel Jahiri pleaded not guilty.
