Summary
Michael Smallhorn, 57, pleaded guilty in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to aiding a drug offence involving €837,000 worth of heroin. He admitted acting as a courier for a €200 payment that never materialised, claiming he wanted the money for golf fees. Gardaí had stopped him in his car at Greentrees Park, where 13 street deals of heroin were found, and later seized 5.9 kilos of heroin from a Citroën parked near Limekiln Lane.
