Gardai forced to defend damages claim after drugs accused told landlord they targeted wrong address

Summary

In August 2015, Gardaí raided the flat of Alan Norman, 40, on Fitzroy Avenue, Drumcondra, after obtaining a warrant based on confidential information. During the search, which took place while Norman and his mother were present, officers seized approximately 1,500 tablets of Xanax and Valium.
