Summary

A 36‑year‑old man was tried in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for sexually assaulting a woman he met on Tinder. He pleaded not guilty. According to the counsel, the accused kissed her, became aggressive, held her arm, placed his hand on her dress, touched her thighs, and interfered with her clothing. The woman tried to stop him and struggled; the accused struck her on the head. She managed to escape and he drove away.
