Summary

In a Central Criminal Court trial, Martin Keenan, aged 20, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Wesley Mooney, aged 33, at St Joseph's Park, Finglas, on 5 June 2016. Prosecutors alleged that Keenan, who was present at the scene early on 6 June, stabbed Mooney with a long‑handled garden shears, delivering two significant blows to Mooney's upper body, including a stab wound to the left side of the chest and a broken leg.
