Dublin man jailed for possession of poor quality cocaine and shotgun

Michael Carolan, aged 39, was sentenced by the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to three years' imprisonment for possessing a double‑barrel sawn‑off shotgun, 28 rounds of ammunition and 586 g of powder that contained only 0.6 % to 1.4 % cocaine, the remainder being a legal anaesthetic used to cut cocaine.
