Quarry expanded by 10.2 hectares with processing facilities and landscaping

Vincent Cannon Company Ltd has been given the green light to expand its existing quarry at Knockshangarry and Knockadikeen near Loughrea. The extension will add about 10.2 hectares to the quarry operation, which will involve extracting stone, processing it through crushing and screening, and then restoring the land back to natural habitat over a 25-year period.
