Witness Appeal - Robbery and Assault, Alfie Byrne Road, Fairview, Dublin 3, Tuesday 1st September 2026

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a robbery and assault that occurred on Alfie Byrne Road, Dublin 3, at approximately 05:10am on Tuesday, 1st September 2026. A woman in her 20s was assaulted as she walked towards Clontarf. The female suspect was wearing a red puffer jacket, and a number of items were taken during the robbery. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 05:00am and 05:20am, particularly motorists who may have dashcam footage, to contact them. Anyone with information can contact Clontarf Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda station. Investigations are ongoing. This is a witness appeal.
