This development will consist of Permission to 1) Demolish existing Funeral Home including sheds, Lounge area, pool room, bar, toilets to existing bar, squash court, along with storage areas and cold room, Outbuildings made up of storage, prep room, keg shed. 2) Alterations to the existing bar and shop, including renovations and reconfiguration of the stairs to the first floor, while maintaining the original shop, bar and front façade fronting onto the R294 Ballina Road. 3) renovate first floor of existing building to incorporate 2 no 2 bed apartments, 4) Construct 8 no. residential units consisting of 6 no. two storey 2 bed terrace dwelling houses, 2 no. two Storey 3 bed semi-detached dwelling house, 5) associated developments and works including pedestrian and vehicular access, hard and soft landscaping, carparking, bin store, public and private amenity and open spaces, lighting, all other ancillary site works and services including connections to surface water infrastructure, wastewater infrastructure and utilities. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development, accompanies the application and will be available for inspection or purchase at the fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the office of planning authority.
