The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation that Premier Cabs pay a worker £800 in full and final settlement of his unfair dismissal claim, including payment of notice. The decision was dated 26 January 2000. The worker, a base controller, said he was dismissed after he could not extend his shift for family reasons. Premier Cabs did not attend the appeal hearing.
