The Labour Court dismissed a union appeal over credit-invoicing duties at Thomas Corry Ltd T/A Corrys, in a decision dated 14 May 2002. The union argued that the work was additional to the worker’s usual duties and merited extra pay. The company said invoicing was covered by its agreement with the union. The Court agreed that the duties fell within that agreement, found extra pay unwarranted and noted that both parties considered an invoicing period impracticable.
