The Labour Court struck out Jozef Przedlacki T/A Trakon Construction’s appeal after the employer did not attend to pursue it. The decision was signed on 25 January 2011. The appeal challenged a Rights Commissioner recommendation that the employer pay a worker €71,523 for alleged underpayment under the Construction Industry Registered Employment Agreement. The employer’s absence meant the merits of the appeal were not decided.
