The Labour Court upheld a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation that a Dublin Bus worker’s claim for further compensation should fail. The decision was signed on 21 March 1988. The worker had received £200 under an earlier Labour Court recommendation for a temporary suspension at Clontarf Depot. He sought about £300 more, arguing that seniority arrangements had not been followed. Dublin Bus said the earlier recommendation had been accepted and the payment discharged its obligation.
