The Labour Court increased a Rights Commissioner’s recommended payment to a worker from £100 to £300 in a decision signed on 12 February 1990. The worker had appealed the recommendation, which concerned money owed and alleged unfair dismissal by Thermo Dri Systems. The Court said it took account of costs incurred by the employee when setting the revised amount.
