The Workplace Relations Commission found a former catering worker entitled to a statutory redundancy lump sum and two weeks’ minimum notice pay, totalling €1,678.95. The decision was dated 26 April 2016. The worker told the WRC she had asked her former employer for the redundancy payment and sent a form on 16 November 2015, but received no reply. The respondent did not attend the hearing. The adjudicator found she was in insurable employment on 26 October 2013 and recorded her gross weekly wage as €129.15.
