The WRC directed a GP practice to pay a practice nurse her statutory redundancy entitlement within four weeks after finding her complaint well founded. The decision was dated 9 August 2016. The nurse said her employment ended when the practice ceased operating and that she was entitled to redundancy. Her union, INMO, and the HSE were mentioned in the account of her claim. The GP did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer relied on her uncontested evidence and cited authorities.
