WRC rejects two complaints against Cis over employment terms and pay parity

By Niamh Kearney

Workplace Relations Commission ·

The WRC rejected two complaints against Cis, finding that Cis was not the complainant’s employer. Adjudication Officer Michael McEntee dated the deCision 5 April 2017. The complainant said they had not received an amended contract or pay parity after becoming an Autonomous Information Provider. Cis said the complainant was employed by a Community Employment Scheme project company, Respondent A, rather than Cis. The adjudicator found that the employment contracts showed Cis was not the employer, and both complaints were not well founded.
