The WRC dismissed an employee’s claim for two weeks’ unpaid wages in a decision dated 16 November 2016. The employee claimed wages for days in late January and early February 2016. The WRC found several days were sick leave for which he had no contractual entitlement to pay, and that the employer had paid for the other days and one day of outstanding holiday pay. The WRC found the employer had met its obligations and dismissed the claim as not well founded.
