The WRC ordered a hospitality employer to pay a waitress €500 after finding it had not issued her a written statement of employment terms. Her separate complaint about annual leave pay failed. Adjudication Officer John Walsh dated the decision 22 September 2016. The employer said contracts were kept at its office for staff to inspect. On the leave complaint, the officer found that the waitress had worked 304 hours and received €383.11, covering her annual leave entitlement.
