The WRC found a cleaning operative’s complaint about a transfer of undertakings was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 14 December 2016. The worker said she received conflicting information about her employment after a cleaning contract changed hands and could not establish which company employed her. The company argued that she contacted it months after the transfer and that her name was not on the transfer list. The adjudication officer found no exceptional cause for the delay.
