The WRC found a chef’s constructive-dismissal and annual-leave complaints against a care centre were not well founded in a decision dated 3 May 2017. The chef said workplace grievances led him to resign. The adjudicator found he had participated in the grievance and appeal process but did not attend the rescheduled appeal meetings. The annual-leave complaint also failed because accrued leave had been paid and the chef confirmed receiving the payments.
