The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Ms A €300 after finding that a letting agent’s staff member inadvertently discriminated against her because she received housing assistance. The agent accepted that discrimination had occurred, apologised and said it had updated its procedures.
The decision was dated 16 November 2016. The compensation was payable within four weeks after the parties received the decision.
