The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a restaurant owner to pay a worker €638.40 for unpaid wages, holiday pay and notice pay. The decision was dated 23 June 2017. The worker said the restaurant closed without notice and that three weeks’ wages and holiday pay remained unpaid. The owner did not attend the hearing. The WRC calculated €420 in unpaid wages, €278.40 in holiday pay and €140 in notice pay, then credited the €200 the owner had already paid.
