The Workplace Relations Commission found that Roberto Alamazani’s five Equal Status complaints against Brenda Mackin-Millar failed after he left the hearing without giving evidence. The decision was dated 2 February 2018. Alamazani failed to pursue the complaints and did not establish a prima facie case.
Alamazani said he had not received notice of the hearing for the five complaints and asked the adjudication officer to hear only a further complaint he had been notified about. Mackin-Millar attended and asked for all complaints to be heard together. The WRC said it could not proceed to hear evidence after Alamazani left.
