The Workplace Relations Commission awarded a driver €850 gross in a Payment of Wages Act complaint against a carrier, in a decision dated 28 August 2017. The driver said he was owed wages for six workdays and two training days. He said the carrier had not paid him despite several requests. The carrier did not attend the hearing. The WRC accepted the driver’s uncontested evidence and found the complaint well founded.
