The WRC ordered a firm of solicitors to pay a solicitor €5,752.64 net in unpaid wages after accepting the amount was owed. The complaint was brought under the Payment of Wages Act. The decision, dated 6 December 2016, gave the firm two weeks to pay. The worker withdrew five other complaints at the hearing.
