The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that a chef, her healthcare provider and a colleague engage in a three-way process to resolve a workplace dispute. The recommendation was dated 2 February 2018. The chef challenged the handling and outcome of an investigation into her bullying complaint, saying the process was flawed and slow and that she had to work in the same area after returning from an absence. The provider said it had followed its procedures and that she had not used the local appeals process. The adjudicator considered the investigation’s conclusion reasonable. The provider had no other option than to keep the chef in the same area without a specific request or an investigative finding of bullying at the time.
