The WRC rejected a cleaning supervisor’s redundancy claim, finding that no dismissal or redundancy situation had been established. Adjudication Officer Patsy Doyle dated the decision 10 May 2017. The supervisor said her employment had transferred to the cleaning company with a contract in 2012 and sought a redundancy lump sum. The company disputed that she had worked for it. The adjudicator found that the evidence did not establish continuous lay-off from January 2012 and treated the company’s letter of 19 August 2016 inviting her to engage as reviving the employment relationship. She advised the parties to re-engage.
