Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission, through Adjudication Officer Roger McGrath, dismissed an Equal Status complaint after the complainant failed to attend two hearings. The decision was dated 30 January 2018. The complainant reported being unwell before the first hearing and later supplied a medical certificate for that day. He did not attend the relisted hearing and provided no certificate for that absence. The respondent attended both hearings. The complaint failed for want of prosecution after the complainant did not attend; the merits were not decided.
