A chef was entitled to minimum notice, one week’s holiday pay worth €596 and statutory redundancy after a restaurant closed without warning. The WRC decision was dated 4 September 2017. The entitlements were based on more than four years’ service and gross weekly pay of €596. The redundancy entitlement was subject to verification of insurable employment.
