A restaurant manager was entitled to minimum notice, two weeks’ holiday pay worth €1,000 and statutory redundancy after the restaurant closed. The WRC decision was dated 4 September 2017. The manager had worked at the restaurant for more than five years. The company was in liquidation, and the redundancy entitlement was subject to verification of insurable employment. The entitlements were based on a start date of 23 May 2011, a termination date of 18 July 2016 and gross weekly pay of €500.
