The WRC awarded a team leader €656.25 gross in unpaid wages after finding he was owed a week’s pay for work in September 2016. The decision was dated 10 July 2017. The team leader had resigned on 31 August and worked until 9 September, then taking annual leave through the end of his notice period. He sought pay for the whole of September. The aviation company did not attend the hearing. The adjudicator found his accrued annual leave entitlement had already been exceeded by the end of August, so he was not owed further leave pay. He was entitled to one week’s pay for the work he did in September.
