The WRC rejected a sales assistant’s constructive dismissal complaint after finding she had not given her employer an opportunity to address her concerns before resigning. Adjudication Officer Eugene Hanly dated the decision 24 August 2017. The officer found she had not shown that she had no option but to resign or that her decision to leave was justified and reasonable. She had resigned after till shortages were raised and a verbal warning was issued.
