The WRC found a head man entitled to a statutory redundancy lump sum based on gross weekly pay of €509.98, subject to PRSI requirements. WRC Adjudication Officer John Walsh dated the decision 9 August 2017. The worker said he had been kept on part-time work for more than six months and sought redundancy; the employer accepted the entitlement but said it could not pay because of its financial position.
