The WRC found a woman’s complaint that a Kerry hotel denied her family access to its bar and carvery because they are Travellers not well founded. The decision was dated 27 September 2017.
The complainant did not attend the hearing, and her representative’s request for an adjournment was refused. The WRC said she had failed to establish a prima facie case of discrimination; the merits were not decided.
