The WRC ordered a construction company to pay a construction operative €4,698 for six weeks’ minimum notice after finding he had not received his entitlement. The decision was dated 25 October 2017. The operative said he had just under 13 years’ service and claimed six weeks’ notice at €783 a week. The company did not attend the hearing; the officer relied on the uncontested evidence.
