The Workplace Relations Commission upheld a kitchen designer’s claims for unpaid wages, annual leave and an unpaid public holiday, directing the retail company to pay €779.90 net wages, €1,775.36 gross for annual leave, €713.31 gross for the public holiday and €500 compensation. The decision was dated 14 September 2017. The respondent accepted that the amounts were due. The adjudicator found all three complaints well founded and directed payment within 42 days, subject to lawful deductions on the gross sums.
