The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed a worker’s complaint that a landlady refused to rent him an apartment because he received rent allowance. The decision was dated 18 December 2017.
The complainant did not attend the hearing, and the landlady was also absent. The WRC said it could not proceed with the complaint and found that it failed for want of prosecution; the merits were not decided.
