The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed a supervisor’s complaint that a cleaning company penalised him after he complained of bullying. The decision was dated 23 November 2017. He cited a disciplinary investigation, a wage deduction and comments by managers during the bullying investigation. The company said the deduction was agreed and related to hours not worked, and that the investigation had not resulted in a disciplinary sanction. The WRC found there had been no detriment and no case was made that the actions were retaliation for his bullying complaint. It dismissed the complaint.
