The WRC ordered a construction contractor to pay a construction worker €2,300 for unpaid wages and holiday pay, finding a breach of the Payment of Wages Act. The decision was dated 17 August 2017. The worker said he worked 21 days without pay at €100 a day and was also owed holiday pay. The contractor did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer accepted the uncontested evidence and found about €200 was due for holiday pay.
