The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a hospitality-sector employer to pay a bar manager €673.93 for unpaid holiday pay, €902.93 for minimum notice and €1,576.86 in outstanding wages. The decision was dated 20 November 2017. The adjudication officer found both complaints well founded on uncontested evidence. The worker said she was owed holiday pay after receiving a part payment and two weeks’ minimum notice. The respondent did not attend the hearing. The officer allowed an extension of the time limit for reasonable cause before considering the complaints.
