The WRC did not uphold five claims by a restaurant worker against a former director of the dissolved company that had employed the worker. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady dated the decision 14 September 2017; the merits were not decided. The claims concerned redundancy, wages, employment information and working time. The officer said the former directors had no personal liability for the company’s debts. They had agreed to support the complainants’ applications to the Social Insurance Fund.
