The WRC did not uphold five claims by a restaurant worker against a former director of the dissolved company that had employed the worker. The decision was dated 19 September 2017; the merits were not decided. The claims concerned redundancy, wages, employment information and working time, including two working-time complaints. The officer said the former directors had no personal liability for the company’s debts. They agreed to support the complainants’ applications to the Social Insurance Fund.
