The Workplace Relations Commission found a cleaner’s five complaints against a cleaning sector employer well founded and ordered compensation in four of them. Its decision was dated 14 September 2017. The employer’s representative conceded that the complaints were valid. The Commission ordered €190 and €402 for wage breaches, €362.80 for unpaid annual leave and €360 for a public holiday entitlement. It recommended a separate €900 payment for the failure to provide written employment terms.
