The WRC awarded a shop assistant €3,500 after finding that a store dismissed her without fair procedures or natural justice. Adjudication Officer Rosaleen Glackin dated the decision 24 January 2018. The store did not attend the hearing, and the WRC relied on the assistant’s uncontested evidence. It found the unfair dismissal complaint well founded and directed the store to pay €3,500 compensation within 42 days.
