The Workplace Relations Commission rejected an administrator’s unfair dismissal complaint, finding that she remained employed when she filed it. The decision was dated 22 May 2018. The administrator said she was dismissed while on sick leave. Her employer said it had stopped her pay after she failed to engage with efforts to arrange her return to work. The WRC found that stopping her pay did not amount to a dismissal and that she was still employed when she lodged the complaint; the merits were not decided.
